The roofers are almost done. The people who put the siding on have started on the second story. And the electrical work will be done by next Monday. Next week is a slow week due to inspections for mechanicals, electricity and structural.
In the process of talking, Jeff noted that it might be a wise investment to enlarge the kitchen as the rest of the house is much larger.
This may involve giving up my intended library and extending the kitchen lenghtwise....
And it will probably be between $10k to $20k depending on scope,or beyond.
I have a sinking feeling this is the right thing to do, and the sinking feeling comes from not having thought it through in the first place.....
We will make a decision on Monday.
Apparently we are doing so well on time that it will only add a "few" weeks to the schedule. Oh man...I was so looking forward to being done early....
He said the sheetrock will take place after Xmas and before NY. Then flooring,and painting.....
Oh well....we'll see what happens.
